How do you balance a chemical equation?

Simply by adding coefficients which are numbers that are placed in front of the chemical formula to balance the number of elements in reactants and products. Steps are: 1. Write the equation 2. Count the atoms 3. Use coefficients 4. Look back and check. Hope it's useful.
