Hello,

Your answer would be 2, -2.

[tex]8x^2 - 4 = 28[/tex]

[tex]8x^2-4+4=28+4[/tex]

[tex]8x^2 = 32[/tex]

[tex] \frac{8x^2}{8}= \frac{32}{8} [/tex]

[tex]x^2 = 4[/tex]

x = +/4

x = 2 or x = -2

2 , -2 would be the answer! :)
