Find the area of all three of them then add them together.
TRIANGLE:
A=1/2*b*h
A=1/2*8*h
The height is not given to us, so we need to make a separate triangle to figure it out. (Work is in picture 1)
A=1/2*8*6.9
A=27.7
SQUARE:
A=s^2
A=8^2
A=64
POLYGON:
Area=1/2*a*p
The polygon has 5 sides.
The perimeter will be 8*5, or 40.
The apothem is found in the next snapshot.
A=1/2*1.9*40
A=38
TOTAL AREA:
38+22.7+64=124.7
