13x - 13 + 8x + 67 = 180

collect the like terms

13x + 8x - 13 + 67 = 180

21x + 54= 180

Isolate 21x

21x = 180 - 54

21x = 126

divide both sides by 21

21x/21 = 126/21

x = 6.
