Similarity: both of them are solid. Difference: prisms have planes that are parallel to each other whereas pyramids do not have planes that are parallel to each other.

DIFFERENCE:A PYRAMID COMES UP AT A POINT BUT A PRISM DOES NOT.
SIMILARITY:THEY BOTH HAVE ATLEAST 1 PENTAGON IN THEM
